The Essential Set

I love, love, love these watercolours! Smooth and saturated with a luxurious feel, they are a delight to work with and the subtle scent of cloves greets me when I pick up my palette. Colour mixing is effortless and fun. I’m definitely ordering the remaining few that I don’t have, to make up the remainder of your core palette as these are my new favourite watercolours.

This is my first Genzäh set and it has all that you need to mix any colour you could desire. With a bit of experimentation I was able to mix many of my go-to colours for my old pallet and some I’d never quite mixed so vibrantly. I only needed a drop of water to activate enough pigment to work with and it seems to go a long way!

The paint smells amazing because of the clove oil and is pretty much odourless when it’s dry if that’s a concern for you. I can’t wait to try out the rest of my colours that just came in.
