Cosmic Moss

This gorgeous colour add subtle dimension and helped me to create washes that have rescued a couple of paintings that I was ready to give up on!

The hue and dimension of Cosmic Moss creates beauty. I used it as a wash over an area of a painting that needed greater definition and it did just that- taking flat areas and providing a luster defining a vision that had more subtle volume in landscape. Such a beautiful and unique shade that always catches the eye, I love this colour for painting nature as it adds so much dimension and depth to leaves and grass. It is a pigmented colour but can easily be sheered out with a bit of extra water, which adds a cool affect. It's a very smooth colour upon application, which is rare in metallics, as they can sometimes pill up or be a bit gritty. But this one glides like a dream and I love this colour!

Super pigmented, excellent re-wetting, gorgeous application! Better than W&N cotman/professional. On par with Sennelier/Horadam Schmincke.

Definitely a great specialty colour, perfect for nature, science fiction, fashion or fantasy painting.
